Welcome!

We are so excited to have everyone join us as we celebrate our wedding. We chose the Central Coast of California as its one of our favorite places to dine, taste wine, hike and relax. We will be spending 4 days in beautiful San Luis Obispo for whoever wants to join us. The wedding will be held in Paso Robles 30 minutes North of San Luis Obispo. All guests will have the option of being transported to and from the wedding.

ABOUT SAN LUIS OBISPO: San-Luis-Obispo is affectionately called "SLO Town," by locals. This is a small city where neighbors throw block parties, the streets are safe and the air is clean. San Luis Obispo is located exactly halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California's central coast. Nestled between rolling hills and the ocean, San Luis Obispo offers visitors an old fashioned downtown with great restaurants, numerous art galleries featuring local artists, a new performing arts center, a children's' museum and more. Every Thursday night, Higuera Street in downtown San Luis Obispo turns into a lively and colorful farmer's market. Vendors line the street with fresh-picked produce, herbs, fresh flowers and ripe fruit. There's also live music and entertainment at the market to entertain visitors! For outdoors recreation, San Luis Obispo has beaches and lakes, and nearby national and state forests to enjoy. Visitors can hike or bike, play golf, go rock climbing, swim or surf, or stroll the beach at sunset. San Luis Obispo is also home to one of the oldest Spanish missions on the California coast. Other points of interest in town include the Apple Farm Mill House and Cal Poly State University. Easy day trips take you to stunning Hearst Castle, or the wine country. With plenty to see and do, San Luis Obispo still retains its slow, easy lifestyle.

Transportation

By Plane
Flying into San Luis Obispo Airport (SBP)- is a pleasant and convenient way to arrive; most likely, you will have to connect flights before entering SLO. SLO is conveniently located equidistant between Los Angeles and San Fransisco, so another option is to fly to one of those cities and rent a car.

By Car
There is only one major highway in or out of San Luis Obispo, US 101.Even those with a terrible sense of direction should be able to make the drive to SLO.

From LAX Airport

Take the 405 freeway north, to the 101 north. A smooth and beautiful coastal drive will land you in sunny San Luis Obispo.

From SFO Airport
Highway 101 runs next to the airport. Jump on the 101 South and you will find yourself in SLO in a little over three hours. For those looking for a more scenic drive, we highly suggest taking Highway 1 South. It is longer (about five hours) but, in our opinion, it is one of the most beautiful drives in America.

Getting Around SLO
There are numerous methods for getting around in San Luis Obispo. The city limits are cozy enough that simply walking from one destination to another is quite possible. We suggest renting a car so you can truly explore the breath that the Central Coast has to offer. Car rentals, such as Budget and Hertz, are present at the airport terminal. Call around for best rates....
